City tour
Season: Year-roundCasablanca city highlights tour
- The Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche, the Habous quarter and Mohammed V Square
- A good first look if you are only here for a day

Practical
Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) lies about 30 km south of Casablanca, near the town of Nouaceur. There are three main ways to reach the city.
ONCF trains leave from the station underneath the terminal, usually about once an hour, and take about 30–45 minutes to reach Casa Voyageurs and Casa Port. This is the cheapest option and avoids the traffic. It is a good choice during the day if you do not have much luggage. Follow the signs in the arrivals hall and buy a ticket from the counter or machine. Trains stop in the late evening, so check the last departure if you land at night.
White grand taxis wait outside the terminal and usually charge a set fare to the city, so confirm the price before you get in. The ride takes about 40–60 minutes, but can take longer at rush hour. It is the most straightforward option if you land late or have a lot of luggage.
A private transfer costs more than a taxi, but your driver will meet you with your name on a sign and take you directly to your hotel. Many hotels can arrange this for you too.
From Casa Voyageurs, trams run towards the city centre and Ain Diab, and red petit taxis wait outside. Casa Port is close to the Old Medina and to many central hotels.
