Itineraries
Three days is a good length of time for Casablanca. You can see the city without rushing and fit in a day in the capital. Stay in the city centre or near Casa Port for the easiest train connections.
Take a morning tour of the Hassan II Mosque, then explore the Old Medina. In the late afternoon, head to the Ain Diab Corniche to walk by the sea and see the white shrine of Sidi Abderrahman if the tide is low. Stay for dinner and the sunset.
Join a guided walk or follow our Art Deco walking route through the city centre, with a stop at the Central Market. After lunch, go to the Quartier Habous for shopping and pastries, then relax in a hammam or the Arab League Park. In the evening, try one of the restaurants in Maarif or Gauthier, or make a booking for Rick’s Café.
Take the train to Rabat, about an hour away. Begin at the Kasbah of the Udayas, then see the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Walk through the medina along Rue des Consuls, and visit the ruins of Chellah if you have the time.

Swap Rabat or add an extra day for a trip to El Jadida and Azemmour, or carry on by train to Marrakech, Fez or Tangier.
